DECEPTION

In this project, I explored the concept of deception by replacing everyday objects with flat paper replicas, placing them in a communal kitchen, and photographing them in their surroundings. The aim was to deceive the eye and challenge the way we perceive familiar objects. Particularly interesting were people’s spontaneous reactions as they tried to distinguish the real objects from their paper counterparts. The project encourages more conscious observation of our surroundings and challenges our everyday perceptions.
