ENERGY

DATA DESIGN

As part of a collaborative project between Fachklasse Grafik Luzern, ETH Zurich and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, supported by EnergieSchweiz, ‘Ohmf’ was developed to make Switzerland’s energy system more accessible and easier to understand. The project comprises twelve infographic energy clocks that visualise scientific data and forecasts relating to different energy sources, highlighting the connections between them. The aim is to distil complex information into a clear and engaging visual language. The energy clocks are on permanent display at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne as part of ‘Experience Energy! – Recharged’ . They were also featured in ‘Again for Tomorrow’ at the Hans Erni Museum, an exhibition exploring pressing contemporary issues, including climate change, biodiversity and energy supply.
